Meet Nick
Nick Sinko (Sienkiewicz) is a conductor, music director, educator, and performer based in NYC. As a professional musician, Nick has been featured every place on stage from behind the mic as a soloist, conducting on the podium, playing at the keys, singing in the chorus, and even sometimes, analyzing and writing about the works being performed. As a voice teacher, Nick has training and experience in classical, contemporary and commercial, and musical theatre vocal styles and techniques. Nick's practice is rooted in trauma-informed pedagogy and culturally responsive practices. Having significant experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, Nick has extensive experience working with trans voices, specfically those that may be undergoing HRT related vocal-changes.

Nick firmly belives that the voice is the most personal instrument and that the psychological component must be nurtured just as much as the vocal mechanism. He firmly believes that everyone can sing and that everyone is capable and uses this mindset to influence all of his lessons and pedagogy.

Nick is committed to maintaining a thriving studio, while also remaining accessible to those that may not be able to afford standard lesson rates. Sinko Studios offers a sliding scale for those that it may benefit, and a increased rate for those that would like to contribute to keeping lessons accessible to all people.
At the end of it all, Nick loves working with people, and wants to see you succeed in all goals that you have for yourself.
